The Practice of Riding the Dragon™
Hey Love Warrior!
Did you catch my previous blog posts about the first two layers of Riding the Dragon™?
The first layer of Riding the Dragon™ is all about grounding into your body and cultivating a loving relationship with it. Read more about the first layer HERE.
Within layer two, breath becomes a conduit that bridges the realms of the seen and unseen. Through breath, we are guided to explore the uncharted territories of our inner landscape. This layer also includes tapping into the vision of pure, unconditional love and making it real in every aspect of our existence. Read more about layer two HERE.
🐉 So how to Ride the Dragon? 🐉
First, we move our body slowly counterclockwise. As we move in this direction, we envision ourselves in a form of pure spirit, pure unconditional love. This spirit carries an innate desire to expand and grow consciousness. During this counterclockwise motion, we synchronize our breath. Inhale as you transition from the left side to the right side of your body. As you inhale, you anchor yourself into your physical form, spirit saying yes to life and submitting to form. God submitting to life. As you exhale from the right side of your body, you are giving the gift of you, your medicine to life. You are the medicine on the altar of life. On the exhale, the divine masculine energy in you is submitting to the divine feminine in you.
Now, we shift our movement to a clockwise direction. Having anchored spirit into form, as you move clockwise, both spirit and form rise together. The divine masculine has rooted into the divine feminine and now the feminine is submitting to the spirit which is the divine masculine. You feel your unique gifts and medicine being received by the world. You are sharing who you truly are with the world. During this movement, maintain the rhythmic inhale from the left side and exhale on the right. As you inhale, you receive life as you are. Upon exhaling, the light codes of your spirit infuse your physical vessel with deep love. ❤️
The duration of each direction is a dance your body knows best. Trust your intuition and continue the practice as long as you sense your spirit firmly rooted within your body.
It's a profound journey into the depths of self, a dance between spirit and form, and a beautiful union of the masculine and feminine energies.
