Layer One of Riding the Dragonâ˘
Hey there, dear Love Warrior!
I want to share with you the practice of Riding the Dragon⢠- a technique that has profoundly impacted me on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. đ Riding the Dragon⢠has allowed me to integrate and connect different aspects of myself, fostering a loving relationship with my body, personality, and spirit.
Riding the Dragon⢠is a powerful technique that was given to me from inside out, from my frequencies. Since November 15, 2019, I've incorporated this practice into my daily life, and it's transformed me on every level.
The first layer of Riding the Dragon⢠is all about grounding into your body and cultivating a loving relationship with it. In our busy day-to-day lives, we often forget to fully connect with our physical selves, becoming absorbed in our thoughts and mental space. Even when we engage in physical activities like exercise or yoga, we may not bring focused awareness to our bodies. The first layer invites us to bring that awareness, love, and kindness to our physical form, treating it as the beloved.
How often do you connect and are fully present with your physical body?
On an emotional level, Riding the Dragon⢠is about confronting our fears and finding the courage to lean into them. It's about riding the waves of life, even when they seem daunting and uncomfortable. Think about a time in your life when you faced something you were afraid of - how that experience catalyzed you to take action. The same applies to our bodies. Our bodies are like children, yearning for attention, love, and awareness. By giving them the love and attention they crave, they respond with love and awareness in return. This cultivation of the relationship between the lover and the beloved within ourselves is essential. â¤ď¸
Layer one also involves working with pain and pleasure as portals to connect with our spirit. Just as a deep tissue massage can be initially painful but ultimately liberating, riding the dragon encourages us to lean into areas of pain within ourselves, offering loving attention and awareness. By facing our fears and discomforts, we initiate a process of transformation and growth.
What is your relationship with pain?
Diving deep into pain can facilitate profound release and healing. We carry trauma and ancestral wounds within our bodies, and by diving deep into these painful areas, we provide our bodies with the opportunity to release and open. The fascia, the connective tissue that holds us together, is intricately connected to the patterns of our lives - the way we think, feel, and relate to the world. Riding the Dragon⢠helps break up this fascia, creating space for new stories, narratives, and patterns that align with our souls. Through this process, our personalities and souls can come into deeper alignment.
