MEvolution or WEvolution

Dear Love Warrior,

Have you ever found yourself at the edge of your comfort zone, facing opinions and beliefs that don't align with your own? These moments can be challenging, but they also provide an opportunity to create either a MEvolution or WEvolution. While we often talk about the importance of creating a WEvolution, it can be difficult to know how to embody this in our daily lives.

A MEvolution happens when we become too rigid in our beliefs, creating a wall that separates us from others. It’s like staying in our little ecochamber of what is important to us and how we see the world. On the other hand, a WEvolution is all about leading with compassionate curiosity, even when we feel triggered or attacked. This creates a space where diversity can thrive and grow.

We can talk about the WEvolution and have the knowledge of that, but there is a difference between knowledge and understanding. Understanding is standing underneath that knowledge, receiving it so much that you are humbled to the knowledge. How can you be that knowledge in every situation? Even when it’s hard, how can you hold the space of the WEvolution? How can you do that when you feel triggered and feel that your beliefs and perspective are being attacked? How can you stay open and curious? I invite you to explore these questions.

It's easy to shut people and ideas out of our lives when they are different from our own, but this is ultimately harmful to us and to the planet. In the movie "Biggest Little Farm," we see how diversity is key to the health and growth of the land. Each creature, even the pests and predators, has an important role to play. By finding a balance and embracing diversity, we can create a healthier, more vibrant world. 🌎

In today's world, it can be challenging to have healthy discussions and debates, especially when censorship is becoming more prevalent. But shutting down each other's voices only limits our ability to find creative solutions. Instead, let's embrace curiosity and see the value in our differences to keep the soil of our consciousness rich and healthy.
